to me life is a bunch of infinite loops contained inside a huge finite loop.
we live the same life day by day thinking this would never end, until all at a sudden tripping over the last piece of rock and falling off the cliff.
As much as life is a bunch of loops, electronic music also has a similar loop-based structure. Musicians make small loops and further develop a tune.
Sometimes they have no idea what to do. Failing to vision the big picture, they get lost within the array of the small loops. At this moment musicians might start over and create a new project.
Life can’t be restarted, nor can we erase the infinite loops. The loops are our current lives and we live in them, so to speak. There is no way we can walk out of the loop and start a new one.
But, we can edit these loops. Modify the sequence, add some fx, or dial the pitch knob to change things. With patience and some skills we can change them.
Create a loop. Load it into a sampler. Start the sequencer and have fun!
